The Google NotebookLM has just received a significant update: it is now possible to share notebooks publicly through a link, allowing anyone to access and interact with the content, even without a Google account.
Public Sharing: A New Level of Collaboration
With the new public sharing feature, users can make their notebooks accessible to anyone with the link. Although viewers cannot edit the original content, they have the ability to:
Interact with AI: Ask questions and receive answers based on the notebook's sources.
Explore generated content: Access summaries, FAQs, and previously created interactive audio.
This feature is particularly useful for educators, project teams, and organizations that wish to disseminate information in an interactive and accessible manner.

Example of corporate use: smart onboarding
A company can use NotebookLM to scale the training of new employees. Just gather documents like internal policies, presentations, videos, and manuals, and import everything into a notebook. The AI automatically generates summaries, FAQs, and even simulates explanatory podcasts. With the public link feature, notebooks are easily shareable with new hires, who can interact with the AI to ask questions like: “What is the work-from-home policy?” or “What tools should I use to report bugs?”
The result is a more agile, interactive, and standardized onboarding process — saving time and providing greater autonomy for the new employee.
